Melanie Teasley, MD

  • Dr. Teasley received her bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University in Evanston Illinois, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
  • She returned to her home state of New Jersey to attend medical school at Rutgers University-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
  • After completing her residency at New York University and Rutgers University, she started a private practice in 1985.
  • During her career, Dr. Teasley has served as the Director of the Eating Disorder Unit at Carrier Foundation; as Medical Director of the North Brunswick site and the Clinical Director of the Women’s Programs of Penn Medicine-Princeton House.
  • Dr.Teasley continues to serve as the psychiatric consultant for the Employee Assistance Program at Penn Medicine-Princeton Healthcare System.
  • Dr. Teasley has now returned to full time private practice, utilizing telepsychiatry services.
